The Cavemen. are a Lagos-based Highlife Fusion band consisting of sibling duo, bassist Kingsley Okorie and drummer Benjamin James. Highlife Fusion blends the Afrobeats, Jazz, Soul and Highlife genres to create something truly impeccable.

Releasing their debut album ‘ROOTS’ in 2020, The Cavemen. use the Highlife genre which combines the deep roots of the history of traditional African music with Western instruments, their goal is to make Highlife a global sound.

Their albums use light-hearted and soulful rhythms backed by raspy vocals delivered in Igbo, the language of South-Eastern Nigeria.
