Thandii is the musical brainchild of musicians Jessica Berry and Graham Godfrey. Co-creating a blend of psychedelic soul, pop and trip-hop, Thandii dropped their debut album ‘A Beat To Make It Better’ in March 2023. Despite it being their debut LP, the duo have plenty of experience as touring and recording musicians working for Michael Kiwanuka, SAULT, Cleo Sol and Little Simz. The album is tightly produced, written and recorded in their home studio ‘HaloHalo’ and is filled with an abundance of influences from Portishead, Massive Attack and Sade to Kulintang, a gong instrumental form originating in Southeast Asia.
