Romare’s music is playful but also deeply researched and compelling. His work is rooted in collage, building vivid new art out of existing materials. His name is in tribute to Romare Bearden, the American multi-disciplinary artist renowned for his insightful collages.

Romare’s albums and performances reach back to 2012 and are a patchwork of inspirations. He combines electronic music production and a wealth of music knowledge to create music from existing material whilst taking on a more considered approach to sampling.

No music lover sticks on one sound their whole lives, and so naturally Romare’s

areas of focus have evolved over time but at its heart it remains dance music, and a natural transplant into the live and club environment.
