Our Mission To Support Upcoming Artists
Cross The Tracks is an all-day festival celebration of funk, soul, jazz, disco, dub, and other club culture elements. As the great Dr. Katherine W. Phillips said, “We need diversity if we are to change, grow, and innovate”. Diversity encourages the search for novel information and perspectives, leading to better decision making and problem solving. Diversity can improve the bottom line of companies and lead to unfettered discoveries and breakthrough innovations. Even simply being exposed to diversity can change the way you think.
London’s heart beats with a wave of creativity. East to West, North to South, inquisitive minds, artists, and entrepreneurs commute beep bopping their little phones on to the gates that open into the overground. They hop on in Hackney and go all the way to some DLR deep in the east. They hop off in Brixton after leaving Archway behind.
Different colours in a melting pots of hairstyles, accents and stories.
Diverse, multicultural, inclusive.
Londoners are made of light and colour coming from all different walks of life. Mixing always breeds innovation. New sounds, new ideas, new genres.
Since our very first edition, Cross The Tracks has always supported local talent. We keep supporting upcoming artists from the UK, and we are excited to give them a bigger platform to truly spread their voices. Expand the variety of different beautiful characters to the rest of the world
Make it reality
On that note, we have been shortlisted by the UK Festival Awards 2022 as Best Festival for Upcoming Talent. Cross The Tracks talks the talk but also walks the walk, so we have partnered with Pirate Studios to offer new stunning opportunities to thrive.
We will be indeed hosting a few competitions to select the cream of the crop to play at Cross The Tracks. Pirate Studios offer private DJ or rehearsal rooms which you can book in hourly slots to practice with your friends or solo. Use our code XTHETRACKS20 to get 20% OFF your first booking or XTHETRACKS10 to get a 10% if you're not a newcomer.
