Cross The Tracks 2025 First Names Announced

We're back, and we're bringing the flavour! With a sweet new look, it’s only right that we have a tasty-looking lineup to match it.

Going into our 6th year, we’re still going strong with our mission to unite community, culture and music in a celebration of everything jazz, funk and soul. We've been raising the bar each year, and 2024 was a tough act to follow. But, hey, we love a challenge!

With this in mind, we’re super excited to announce that Mercury Prize-winning artist Michael Kiwanuka will be headlining Cross The Tracks 2025.

An artist in the truest, purest sense, Michael Kiwanuka has captivated audiences since his debut album, Home Again, in 2012. For over a decade he has stood out for making the most emotionally engaging contemporary soul music of recent years. With his highly anticipated album, Small Changes, dropping at the end of 2024, Michael Kiwanuka is an unmissable headliner at Cross The Tracks.

He’ll be joined by renowned multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and songwriter Jordan Rakei, acclaimed experimental jazz musician Nala Sinephro, legendary early-'70s British group Cymande, rising R&B icon Sinéad Harnett, one of the UK’s most skilled and respected rappers Bashy, psych/dub artist Skinshape, Nigerian artist Seun Kuti alongside Fela’s legendary Afrobeat band Egypt 80 and progressive R&B artist Bilal.

On Sunday, May 25th, they’ll take over Brockwell Park joined by an insane lineup, including Grammy-nominated artist Baby Rose, bright, talented soul artist Lynda Dawn, South London songstress Jaz Karis, pioneer of LA hip hop and electro Egyptian Lover, dub and reggae sound system legends Aba Shanti-I and Channel One, enchanting artist Shaé Universe, universally acclaimed singer and producer Fabiana Palladino, viral-sensation JGrrey and fast-rising star in the UK Alt-RnB scene RUBII.

But wait, there's more! Jazzbois, Thee Sinseers, The Altons, Moses Yoofee Trio, Allysha Joy, daste.,LULU., Marla Kether, Olympia Vitalis, Jessy Blakemore, Mychelle, Summer Banton, Tia Gordon, Essence Martins and Kaicrewsade are also on the bill. Not forgetting DJ sets from Gilles Peterson, musclecars, Shy One, Ruby Savage, a Handson Family Heritage Stage takeover and so much more.

Kick off your festival season here, grooving under the sun (or clouds, because let's face it, UK weather is not the one) at Cross The Tracks 2025.

Don’t worry this is just a little taste of all the goodness we’ve got in store, there’s a whole lot more still to come.
