American singer, songwriter, and pianist, Neal Francis has been influenced by classic New Orleans artists such as Allen Toussaint, Billy Preston, and Curtis Mayfield. On his new album ‘In Plain Sight’, Neal Francis offers up a body of work both strangely enchanted and painfully self-aware, unfolding in songs sparked from Greek myths and frenzied dreams and late-night drives in the depths of summer delirium.

The album came to life over the course of a tumultuous year spent living in a possibly haunted church in Chicago. In November 2023, Francis released a live album entitled ‘Francis Comes Alive’, recorded to analog tape over two sold out shows at Chicago's Thalia Hall in March 2023.
