Harry Ling, a.k.a. Mackwood, a London-based drummer and producer is an emerging alumnus of the acclaimed Tomorrow’s Warriors and Guildhall Jazz programs. After collaborating with names like Chase & Status and Jordan Rakei, Mackwood has already carved out a versatile niche between his disciplines of drumming, production and songwriting. With an affinity for progressive Jazz, beat-making and alternative dancefloor rhythms, Mackwood combines UK and international Jazz with London’s burgeoning player/producer elite. His upcoming music continues the UK’s celebrated tradition of crossover sounds with a strikingly deft ear for sonic detail.

Drummer and producer for the likes of Col3trane and ELIZA, he has also featured alongside premier Jazz musicians from projects like Kokoroko, Yussef Dayes and Louis Cole & performed live with Nilüfer Yanya. Mackwood has played packed shows at the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s and Jazz Re:Fresh and is also a core member of The Silhouettes Project and 11-piece Levitation Orchestra.
